A few weeks ago I discovered a up and coming lipgloss brand called LipBliss by the company What’s your Virtue?. I knew immediately I believed in what this company was doing and the message behind it. The purpose is to use positive virtues such as Devotion, Wisdom, Kindness, Generosity, as color names for their lipglosses.
It all started when a woman shopping with her teenage and pre-teen daughter discovered that many cosmetics company and their product names were innapropriate and sending negative messages to girls everywhere. She wanted to create a lipgloss that women could buy and feel good about gifting or buying for themselves.
I LOVE this concept, and would love to see this in more of our cosmetics out there today.
These would be great for woman of any age, the colors are pretty sheer or lightly tinted. They have a minty smell, and a very creamy , long lasting glossy texture.
They contain: castor, cranberry, and safflower seed oils, nourishing peppermint oil, green tea extracts, and moisturizing vitamin E. LipBliss is gluten free, not tested on animals, and contains no parabens.

Fall 2012 Beauty Trends
It’s time to start preparing for fall now that it is finally October and I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite fall 2012 beauty trends straight from the runways. Fall beauty trends ranged from minimal make-up to cobalt blue cat-eyes, just be sure to have fun with it.
Red lips were seen all over the fall runways. Pair with minimal make-up and you are good to go. And, if you like your lips to be shiny, Simplicity Lip Bliss goes great over lip sticks.
Rosy cheeks were all the rage too. These also work well with minimal make-up and would look great with our Devotion Lip Bliss.
While you might not to wear these butterfly inspired smoky eyes every day for fall, this is a great look for going out. You can get this same effect with just about any three colors and is great for those who prefer a more non-traditional smoky eye.
Like French Manicures? Try a reverse French this fall with colored tips and either a colored or neutral base. This is a fun look that you can even do from home.
Well, there you have it! These were my favorite fall trends that I will be sure to test out and rock all season long.

Morning routine:
In the morning I splash a handful of water on my face and apply Dermalogica Active Moist moisturizer and Innovative Skincare Clinical Eye Complex—I am obsessed with it. My makeup routine starts with Armani foundation as a concealer and La Mer The Treatment Powder all over. Then it’s a touch of mascara, blush and a natural lip gloss.
Overnight skin ritual:
I sonic care my skin and use Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel to clean it, then use my IS Clinical Eye Complex and a heavier moisturizer like Aveeno Positively Ageless Night Cream. I have really dry skin and need something that is going to moisturize.
Who cuts/colors your hair:
Nikki Providence is my favorite.
Hair habit:
My most unique hair technique is to use hot rollers—yes, hot rollers! I can throw them in in three minutes and for the rest of the day I have smooth, shiny and healthy-looking hair.
Favorite eye look:
Cat eye, all the way! NYX’s Super Skinny Eye Marker makes it easy to do.
Go-to lipstick:
On a daily basis I usually wear gloss, but lately I have been obsessed with Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Satin lipstick in Belgravia.
Nail color of the moment:
Scotch Naturals in Leprechaun Lynch.
Signature scent:
I use Method’s Pure Naked Body Wash in Magnolia. I love the smell and usually don’t mix a scent over it.

Secret to staying young and beautiful:
Choose to smile.
